Microsoft did not tell any reason about this decision. In one statement Skype told that skype users in India would not be able to call through skype. However Indian users would be able to call other countries users. Peoples going out of India will be able to call on mobile and landline. Company did not announce that why this decision is taken. But this decision is announced at that time when before one week the mobile unit of Microsoft has launched new Smartphone Lumia 730 which is adequate for skype calling.

People who will be affected by this move, Microsoft will give full refund. The Company also regret in his statement. Via VOIP      service like skype people can make call through internet. Although Indian laws do not allow for calls to be from India. So these types of companies re-root Indian users calls on international platform which is violation of rule.
